A collection of words with some of the wonderful people I've met around the world. It's always an awkward thing to get in front of the camera when you like and are use to being behind the camera. While listening to my first podcast I cringed. During my 2nd one not as much. I wasn't mortified to be on a 6 minute video and approved of it without letting vanity overrule. I even booked a couple sessions with hypnotist Morgan Yakus to get over a paralyzing fear of public speaking. As Alain de Botton said, “Anyone who isn’t embarrassed by who they were last year probably isn’t learning enough.”
Cheers to a New Year, Every Year.
Podcast: Leading the Feminist Revolution in Immersive Media. I met Susan Michel and her daughter CarolAnn at the INC Women's Power Summit in NYC in October of 2017. They were such a supportive mother | daughter business duo and invited me to be on their podcast, Women's Wealth, a radio show aimed at helping women navigate questions about work, money, and family.
An old friend from Byron Bay, an idyllic place we once lived in Australia, interviewed me about VR + The Future Feminine. I discuss the inspiration behind Temme, the importance of why girls and women should be involved in immersive media and what some of our long term goals are. Thank you Shannon for your supportive platform of women creators! Photo: Women's March | Washington DC 2017
The talented Steve Larosiliere of Stoked Mentoring interviewed me for his podcast Episode 15: How to Grow, Adapt and Learn to Make your Way in the World. Figuring it out is a lifelong journey.
Samantha Wills has taken a 15 year career and turned it into a platform for helping women succeed in business. An Australian native, she now resides in NYC living life on her terms. Before Temme launched, she interviewed me while I was going through the motions of launching a culmination of my life's work.
